Every story has an ending

So. It's been a couple weeks since I wrote. I've been at home for a week and a half now, and it still feels somehow weird. Everything is either in Finnish or Swedish. And I feel soo unpolite when I speak with people. It was lovely to see my family after 10 months. And when I saw my best friends I started screaming and hugging them:) (At least I know that they're my real friends<3) I miss France, certain habits they had like "la bise" or the way they talked with strangers. I miss Nantes, the big city. I miss my frenchies, my lovely group of friends. I miss my host family and their animals (surtout les chats:)). I hope I can go back there asap! (Luckily it's soon my 18th b-day:DD) It's funny when I see people I know and everybody says "Welcome back to Finland". I don't know what to answer so I say thanks.

My year in France is over. It's probably the end of this blog also. I'll maybe do some info-related posts (if I've got the time to do them). You can still ask me questions about exchange and I'd love to answer them:)

Now my adventures continue in my new blog. (I'll post the link when it's ready to be published)

I spent 4 days of my lovely holiday in Luxembourg! My (real) cousin lives there with her family. We went around in Lux and did some various things. I had a little scandinavia therapy session also. I let the pics speak!

Les Vacances!

Finally! Now it's time to chill out and forget all worries! (I really should do that...) Tomorrow I'll be in Paris! And I'll stay there until the 26th! Hope there's a internet connection so I could skype with my family and keep you updated! Everybody has told me that Paris is really beautiful now. (Christmas lights etc!)

I think November and December are the most difficult months for an exchanger. The weather isn't too nice and it's dark and life here is just normal. There aren't that many new exiting things anymore. And then it's Christmas. It's a event which you spend with your family. It's usual to start missing your own family now. In fact I miss my family so much more now than in the beginning. The first month it feels like you're on holiday. Of course the language and struggling with it is tough. But as they say here: "T'inquiéte pas!Ça va venir!" It's so true! Now I speak fluently, with an accent thou("T'as un accent, toi!"). I can explain different things and I understand almost everything what people say to me. If I don't know what a word means I ask. Tip for exchangers: Ask if you don't understand. Ask for explanation. There's no dumb  questions! I've learned plenty of words by playing Pictionary!

I've been a bit stressed and worried. It's totally normal, but it's not very agreable to stress and worry. So now I promise to myself to worry less and just relax and enjoy! The week in Paris will be so good for my nerves!

Enfin! Les vacances! Le temps pour se reposer et oublier tout les inquiéts! Demain je paritrai à Paris avec ma famille d'accueil! On reste là jusqu'au le 26.12. J'espere il y a un connection intenet pour pouvoir parler via skype avec ma famille! Je vais aussi mettre des nouveaux messages ici! J'ai entendu que Paris est belle pendant le Noël!


À mon avis Novembre et Décembre sont les mois le plus difficile pour un(e) correspondant(e). Le temps n'est pas trop beau, il fait noir et gris... Et en plus il n'y a pas autant de nouvelles choses. Le Noël est difficile. Normalement je passe le noël avec ma famille. Ils me manquent beaucoup! Enfait le prémier mois est comme un voyage pendant les vacances. Maintenant ma vie est tout a faire normale. Les problemes avec la langue sont vachement fatiguantes. Mais après 3,5 mois je peux parler mieux, donc avec un accent! Je comprends presque tout et si je comprends pas je demande. J'ai appris des nouveaux mots en jouent Pictionary!! Pas mal!


J'ai été stréssée et je me suis inquiétée trop. Maintenant je vais me reposer et penser aux autres choses! La semaine à Paris va faire du bien!

I heart Zumba

Omg. I totally love zumba! It's just so fun! You can dance and shake and have fun. I loved today's pass. There were some new songs but some old ones. Perfect mixture. I think this was the most awesome zumba pass I've been to. Everybody was in the feeling and just had fun. The instructor didn't explain too much and was fun and had the feeling going on by pepping everyone. Just wanted to tell you this. I feel amazing after zumba and sport in general.

En français: Je vraiment aime Zumba! C'est très amusante! On peut danser et bouger et avoir un bon temps! J'ai aimé le cours ajourd'hui! Il y'avait des nouvelles vieilles chansons. Un mélange qui était parfait. C'etait le meilleure cours de zumba que j'ai experiencé. L'instructeur n'a pas expliquer trop et il a encouragé tout le monde! J'ai seulement voulu dire ça. J'aime Zumba et sport en general!

Is this really happening?

It's been kinda silent on this blog, but nothing has happend. Now it's under a month until the day. And today was my last day of work :) HAPPY! This summer internship has thaught me some things. Like how to use MS Office programs (Acces) and Auto CAD. It also proved me that a nine-to-five-job is nooot my thing. It's so boring. Thanks dad (I know you'll read this XD) for fixing this job. What would I had done without this job? Thanks to this job I also got money for my year and was able to buy my new baby (Canon EF  24-70mm).

But now I go downtown to spend a nice evening with my craziest friends:) Today is the night of the black lace (read more here ) (in finnish but there are links to the English and French program timetables:) ). So bye for now! I'll do some post before the plane takes off:))

umm.

I have so much to do before my adventure in France! I have to work and then I'm gonna to a confirmation camp! Then 2 weeks holiday. Then the BIG date is here. And it's already end of June. Crazy how time flies. It feels like I've started working like a week ago but actually I've worked almost 3 weeks. 4 more to go! I can't believe that it's so soon. But then again it feels like I have to wait a decade. Really confusing. And it was really confusing to see my exchange friends leave Finland! They were so nice. And the sad part is that I don't know when I'll see them again.

I'm happy I chose France. It's easy to travel there and not too far away:) I'm sure that I'll visit there many times after! I already fell in love with Saint Malo (was stuck there for 6h last summer:DD). And Malville seems like a sweet village :) (at least in Google earth and streetview) :))

PS. The title of the post is that because I listened to Lady Marmalade when I started writing this:D

Tonight when I biked home (with my helmet on) from Jasmin's place some teenagers shouted to me "Nice potty!". Then I heard one of the guys saying "IT has different coloured shoes". The rest of the way home I was thinking what I could have said to them. Then it hit me! "Maybe I seem different, I am. But I am also UNIQUE and so freaking proud of it!" 

This is me. I'm proud to be the person I am. You should also be!
